  Like steak? You're in for a treat. The $26 (Yes I said $26) 350gm porterhouse I had at the Star Hotel was amazing. Tasty, tender, juicy, delicious, beautifully cooked and probably the best I've ever had. Did I mention AMAZING. The chips were good and the salad, pedestrian, but that's not the hero...The only other that could challenge this was at an establishment no longer with us (Archie's on the Creek, Archie's Creek, Gippsland), and that was $50, so in my taste....The BEST steak EVER.

  The Star Hotel served up a good dinner, I had the Bloody Vego Pizza which was delicious. If I were to give criticism it would be that the space was a tad small.

  True old fashioned warm family service. It's like coming home. Food is awesome. The cozy wood fire and the open fire are the perfect place to sit and let the fast stress of life drain from you. I love to step back in time and enjoy this gorgeous old pub , a sweet piece of victorian history.

  Really good pub food as well as share boards which everyone in my group loved. Country atmosphere, great for families.
